DIGITAL VIDEO SURVEILLANCE

Alarming
Statistics...
-
Employees are 15 times more likely to
steal from you than your customers
-
Dishonest employees steal 8.6 times more
than a shoplifter in dollar value
-
Businesses lose thousands of dollars each
day due to internal theft
-
Employees steal time as well as goods and
money
Traditional Security Camera Systems are a great
deterrent in situations where theft or misconduct may be prevalent.
Mounted on the surface, cameras can add a sense of security to your
clients or employees. Time-lapse recording offers you or the
police the advantage of reviewing events as they happened.
Covert Camera systems have become the "silver bullet" when trying to
deal with situations where proof needs to be gathered or where abuse is
suspected. Pro1Security offers professional and confidential
covert camera installations that in most cases quickly and effectively
satisfies your concerns. Flexible scheduling to accommodate after
hour installations are easily arranged.
No
matter what your needs are we can design a system for you...
There are some REAL benefits from a custom
designed CCTV application
-
Increased profitability by decreasing
internal theft from employees
-
Increased productivity from employees
-
Save money on insurance costs with
applicable plans
-
Increased recovery rates when there is an
incident to report
A video surveillance system allows you to view
and record designated areas of your building. The simplest form of a
closed-circuit television (CCTV) system is a single camera hooked into a
monitor. As more cameras are added, a medium is required to allow for
multiple camera shots to be viewed on the monitor. You can choose
from either alternating camera shots or have all the cameras on the
screen at the same time. If you would like to record events, a
recording medium must be added such as a time lapse VCR or digital video
recorder. Remote viewing is also possible via DVR and PC
operating systems, which allows for even more possibilities.
Six Questions To Determine Your Set-up:
1. What would you like to accomplish?
2. Which areas would you like coverage?
3. How many cameras are required?
4. What type of cameras and lenses are required? Black/white or
color, interior or exterior, etc.?
5. Would you like to observe events locally or remotely via an internet
connection?
6. Would you like to record events?
The Right
Equipment for the Right Application...
There is no room for shortcuts when it comes to
CCTV, far too often recommendations are made for equipment usage that
will give less than optimum results. The right cameras, and the
right monitoring or equipment in combination is essential.
Cameras
Cameras capture images that can be viewed on a display.
Black\white cameras provide a sharper image (higher resolution), color
cameras provide more detail. Lighting conditions are a key factor
in deciding between black/white or color. The lens always
determines what will be displayed. An infrared illuminator allows
a camera to "see in the dark". An infrared illuminator is used for
locations with poor or no outdoor lighting and can see 25' to 40' away.
Standard cameras will not stand up to Canada's
harsh weather conditions. Weatherproof housings have heaters for
cool winters and blowers for hot summers. Can withstand -40°C to
+40°C. So environmental considerations are part of the design
process.
Digital
Surveillance & Remote Viewing
We recommend
DVR stand alone, or PC based solutions to our clients, this gives them
the best picture quality and surveillance coverage and expandability
options. Time lapse recorders are a thing of the past, you need
cost effect up to date solutions.
How the DVR works:
Our DVR is designed for commercial applications that require recording
one or more either network IP cameras or traditional analog CCTV
cameras. Surveillance cameras are connected to DVR which is connected to
the home network or directly to Internet. DVR captures,
compresses, and stores video from connected cameras. Also it provides
access to the cameras and to the recorded video from Internet. You can
playback recorded video, control PTZ cameras, detect motion and trigger
notification via e-mail or pager.
-
Superior digital image quality, record over and over again without
distortion.
-
Simultaneous recording and broadcasting from all cameras.
-
Record huge amounts of data on to the DVR's hard drive, sometimes more
than 30 days at a time with no tapes to change.
-
Activate recording upon motion detection. User may select specific areas
of coverage to be recorded.
-
Motion detection recording reduces viewing times, front controls for
easy operation with remote control options.
-
The following tasks can be triggered upon motion detection: sending
captured images by e-mail, sound alarm, recording, popping-up the
program and making it topmost, creating motion snapshots, uploading
captured video and snapshots onto a web site. (some options not
available on certain models)
-
Encrypted and password protected recording.
-
Rapid Search Capabilities.
-
Pan / Tilt / Zoom functions with supported PTZ cameras.
-
Integrate your existing CCTV system.
-
PC-based systems are available for the right application.
Remote Viewing:
See "live" images via the internet or LAN. High speed internet
connection required at local premises with a static IP recommended.
High speed internet also required at the remote premises.
